BIOLACE® Pure is an ideal choice for environmentally conscious consumers. It is produced only with cellulosic fibers, being biodegradable, compostable, and having much lower CO2e compared to other conventional biodegradable spunlace nonwovens.
BIOLACE® Pure is a versatile product suitable for baby and personal care wiping. In addition, it is an excellent option for a wipe for quick yet efficient household cleaning.
The pulp core of BIOLACE® Pure nonwoven enables superior absorption, while the soft outer layers ensure optimal liquid management and distribution. The product structure makes the material very stable and helps in controlling liquid migration in the package ensuring that the topmost wipes in a stack remain moist.

To enhance cleaning performance, Suominen offers its expertise to create even more effective BIOLACE® Pure products with high-definition patterns and raw material selections.
Patterning of BIOLACE® Pure nonwoven improves wet thickness more than 20% compared to non-patterned one.
“Patterning also increases the surface area and by this way improves absorption capacity of the nonwoven. The patterns create efficiency in cleaning and enable consumers to save time. Due to its’ ideal structure, the lotion is released in a controlled manner during the wiping enabling improved consumer experience,” says Johanna Kivistö, Manager, Category Management, Europe.
Currently, Big dot and Oblique patterns are available, but customized patterning is also possible according to customer’s wishes.

Multiple use applications with higher basis weights
BIOLACE® Pure with higher basis weights (80-90 g/m²) ensure even higher thickness, opacity and strength properties which are optimal parameters for example in adult cleaning or in disposable towels. Higher basis weight BIOLACE® Pure are also available with patterns.
The product is excellent also for floor cleaning because the sandwich structure has high lotion load and controlled release properties in use.
Suominen offers BIOLACE® Pure products with the chain of custody certifications for PEFC and FSC on a request.
